Loralee Beard
When Loralee Beard and her husband Les were raising their 4 young children, Meghan, Taryn, Bert and Alex, (now all young adults) photos were a treasured marker of every stage of their life. In the mid 1990’s, when Alex, the youngest child was in grade school, Loralee (who had completed studies at Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Social Work at University of Georgia), began the two year Photography Program at Gwinnett Tech. While still in the program, she incorporated Magic Moment Photography and has delighted in watching the company grow and become a strong community presence. It is truly a family business with all family members, including 5 year old grandson Blake, contributing their talents. (Blake’s job is to demonstrate the perfect smile). Loralee’s hobbies include the “Finer Things Trivia/Game Club”, reading for her monthly Book Club, enjoying time with her five dogs and horse, and --family, family, family. Loralee has become the grandmother of six grandchildren in the span of five years.
